Juicy Jungle

Solo Exhibition

Bill Arning Exhibitions
Houston, Texas

March 24–April 29, 2023

Juicy Jungle weaves together multiple areas of interest, such as environmentalism, Venezuelan political and economic realities, beauty, danger, and LGBTQ rights. With a massive decoratively opulent wall painting festooned with more traditional acrylic on canvas paintings, the gallery was turned into a stage-like landscape in which to rhyme our fragility and resilience with the tapirs and mosquitos that populate Rosales’s work.
