Houston-based Venezuelan artist Gerardo Rosales produced a large-scale mural playfully linking three walls within Partnership Tower. His bold work is populated with intricate layers of personal symbolism and folk mythology, including a monumental hybrid figure that merges human and animal forms. Rio Chiquito is marked by a lush fantastical landscape that explores Rosales’s experience as an immigrant in the city of Houston, particularly his walks along Houston’s bayous.
