In a review of the "Inverted Order," Venezuelan poet, art historian and curator Luis Pérez Oramas wrote: "What interests me in Rosales' work is the elusive - and ironic - character that allows him to link two totally contradictory, if not opposite, universes: the formal and symbolic paraphernalia of childhood, the wallpaper, the playful animalia, pastel colors, floral patterns, a duckling or a teddy bear - with the most specific homoerotic iconography - the chromatic transvestite, the adult /infant relationship, the bear and the duck ...
